Opening Times and Prices 2008

Main Season - open Tuesday 18th March - Friday October 31st
Closed on Saturday except Easter, Spring Bank Holiday and July 26th - September 1st inclusive, when the Mine is open 7 days a week.

Opening times

  • Sunday 10th February to Saturday 16th inclusive 11.00 - 5.00
  • March, April & May 10.00am - 5.00pm
  • June, July & August 10.00am - 6.00pm
  • September & October 11.00am - 5.00pm
  • Last Admissions 2 hours before closing.
  • Open for pre-booked groups of 25 or more during the winter months
  • The Mine Manager reserves the right to vary these times of opening for safety or operational reasons, or due to severe weather conditions in the Cambrian Mountains.

A Discount is available if you would rather not do the deep underground tour!
Free access to shop and tearooms.

 

DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PRE-BOOKED GROUPS OF 15+ PEOPLE

We regret the Underground Mine Tour is not currently suitable for wheelchair users, but work is in progress to improve accessibility.
Remember, it's cool underground & even on the hottest days, warm clothing and stout footwear is adviseable.
